Bolivar residents who need to have their pets vaccinated may do so later this month without needing to leave the peninsula. The Galveston County Animal Recourse Center (ARC) and Pet Vaccination Services (PVS) will host a low-cost pet vaccination clinic in Crystal Beach on Saturday, October 29.

“We routinely hold these clinics at the shelter in Texas City but thought it a good idea to bring the clinic to the people and pets of Bolivar,” said Amber Adams, ARC manager. “This will allow Bolivar residents have their pets vaccinated faster and more conveniently right there on the peninsula.”

Low-cost vaccinations, flea control and heartworm testing and treatment services through Pet Vaccination Services (PVS) are available to everyone, regardless of city of residency. The event will take place in the parking lot of the Bolivar Peninsula Chamber Of Commerce at 1750 Highway 87 in Crystal Beach. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 29.
