Pet owners whose dogs and cats need vaccinations are encouraged to attend a low-cost clinic hosted by Pet Vaccination Services (PVS) at the Galveston County Animal Resource Center (ARC) on Saturday, June 24, 2017. County pet registration and microchipping will also be offered at the event.

Low-Cost Vet Vaccinations

Low-cost vaccinations, flea control and heartworm testing and treatment services through Pet Vaccination Services (PVS) are available to everyone, regardless of city of residency. PVS prices range from $15 to $80. Specific PVS pricing can be found online at www.petvaccs.com or by calling (713) 738-3131 or (210) 377-2222.

Pet Registration

The ARC will also offer free lifetime county registration for pets that are already microchipped. Pets without microchips can receive a lifetime registration and microchip for $20. Pet owners age 65 and older will receive a discounted rate of $15.

County registrations are only necessary for pet owners who are residents of the municipalities served by the ARC: Bayou Vista, Hitchcock, Kemah, La Marque, Texas City, Tiki Island and unincorporated Galveston County. Those who live outside the county registration jurisdiction can still receive microchips for the low cost fee of $20 each.
