The Galveston County Health District will offer free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings at the City of Texas City's Movie on the Dike on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.  Mosquito repellent, Zika prevention tips and health education will also be offered. 

The Medical Reserve Corps will be on hand to discuss volunteer opportunities and provide basic first aid. 

Look for the 37-foot air conditioned mobile clinic.

Galveston County Medical Reserve Corps will need four Volunteers for Community Outreach this Saturday August 19, 2017 from 5:00 to 10:00pm. Public Health Nurses will be doing blood pressure screening. We will be handing out literature, and helping supply mosquito spray to the public and of course basic first aid. You will not be able to miss us, we will be in the 37 foot air-conditioned GCHD mobile clinic.
