Low-Cost Vaccines and Free Microchips at Animal Resource Center

GALVESTON COUNTY, Texas –The Galveston County Animal Resource Center (ARC) is proud to help protect the health and well-being of pets by hosting low-cost vaccinations and offering free microchips on November 25, 2017.Graphic reading "low-cost pet vaccines and free microchips at the ARC on November 25, 2017."

Low-Cost Pet Vaccinations

Pet Vaccination Services (PVS) will be at the shelter on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. offering low-cost vaccinations, flea control and heartworm testing and treatment services. PVS services range from $15 to $80. Specific pricing is available online at www.petvaccs.com or by calling (713) 738-3131 or (210) 377-2222.

Free Microchips

Free microchips, courtesy of the Michelson Found Animals Registry, are available daily at the ARC while supplies last. After this promotion, microchips will return to the low cost of just $20 each.

Microchipping is the required means of pet registration for pet owners who live in the municipalities served by the shelter: Bayou Vista, Hitchcock, Kemah, La Marque, Texas City, Tiki Island and unincorporated Galveston County.
