Hurricane Harvey's effects are still keenly felt by Galveston County neighbors. GOFM works with many families using WIC, and we hope to send some generosity towards the babies, children & parents hit the hardest at the Dickinson WIC clinic. There's no shortage of good things to donate towards at this time of year but if you've been searching for one more fantastic way to make others merry this holiday season, join us December 17th at GOFM and bring along an item or two to help out families in need!
Upon request, the staff at their clinic provided this list for new or gently used items their families still desperately need:
- Diapers any age range
- Onesies 2-36 months
- Socks new born-12 months
- Boppy pillows
- Safe sleep sacks M to XL
- Pack n' Plays
- Car seats infant to 3 years
- Gift cards to Wal Mart, Target, Toys R Us, HEB, etc. (allows the WIC staff to buy items needed by families if you cannot pick up any of the above items)
We'll be at market as usual, but you can drop off your donations with us at the GOFM Welcome tent. A WIC Clinic employee will be onsite to answer any further questions. Thank you so much, for the continued generosity we've seen since Harvey!
