Hurricane season began June 1 and Texas City officials are encouraging the public to be prepared. The City of Texas City Emergency Management Office will host its annual hurricane preparedness town hall meeting 6-7:30 p.m. June 5 at the Charles T. Doyle Convention Center. Hot dogs and refreshments will be served.
