Empower yourself to better manage diabetes with Galveston County Health District’s (GCHD) free Diabetes 101 class every Wednesday 3-4 p.m. at the GCHD Texas City WIC Clinic, 9850-B Emmett F. Lowry Expressway, Suite B-101.02. Topics include monitoring blood glucose, healthy eating, meal planning, understanding food labels, counting carbs and managing stress through increased activity.
