GALVESTON COUNTY, Texas – The Galveston County Animal Resource Center (ARC) continues its commitment to pet health by again hosting a low-cost pet vaccination clinic and offering county pet registration on Saturday, September 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Low-Cost Vet Vaccinations
Low-cost vaccinations, flea control and heartworm testing and treatment services through Pet Vaccination Services (PVS) are available to everyone, regardless of city of residency. PVS prices range from $12 to $68 dollars. Specific PVS pricing can be found online at www.petvaccs.com or by calling (713) 738-3131 or (210) 377-2222.
Pet Registration
The ARC will also offer free lifetime county registration for pets that are already microchipped. Pets without microchips can receive a lifetime registration and microchip for $20. Pet owners age 65 and older will receive a discounted rate of $15. Registration and microchipping services are only available to pet owners who are residents of the municipalities served by the ARC: Bayou Vista, Hitchcock, Kemah, La Marque, Texas City and unincorporated Galveston County.
