Galveston County Health District will be at M.I. Lewis Social Services, 215 FM 517 Road East in Dickinson, 10-11 a.m. offering the following classes.
July 26 – vaccinations: Did you know routine vaccines help protect you against diseases like chickenpox, the flu, HPV, measles, mumps, whopping cough, COVID-19 and more? Vaccines work with your body’s natural defenses to help you safely develop immunity and lower your chances of spreading the disease.
June 23 and Aug. 1 – health screenings: Take advantage of free health screenings including blood pressure, blood sugar and oxygen level checks.
June 15 and July 7 – Healthy Eating, Active Living: Join us to learn more about the benefits of making healthy food choices, moving your body, ways to boost mental health, diabetes management and resources, tips in the kitchen and more.
