Join the 2024 Big Texas Recovery Rally in Galveston County for a day of fun, support, and community as we celebrate recovery, harmony, and compassion for all.

This in-person event will feature children’s entertainment, a surprise keynote speaker, speakers from multiple pathways of recovery, and many resources and vendors. Whether you’re in recovery yourself or showing support for a loved one, this event is for everyone in the community.

The event, sponsored by the Addiction Research Institute at the University of Texas at Austin and made possible by funds from Texas Health and Human Services, wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of local sponsors, including prevention specialists, faith communities, mental and physical health providers, substance use treatment centers, and sober living organizations and community stakeholders.

Galveston County Health District public health nurses will be attendance providing free health screenings and hepatitis C testing.
